The Truth About Community College

Fan Question: I’d LOVE to hear about community college, I’m in high school and I’d like to get an idea of the costs, what it’s like, what’s offered in comparison to university, etc., in depth. Also, what are some (or all) of the degrees you mentioned you switched between in this video? cho0onger456

@fnapis School is free and you’ll get paid $400 a month for studies after highschool. Up to highschool all materials are free and school lunch is free.

Education is not free in Scandinavia. It is paid through *drum roll* HIGH TAXES! Yay!

But still it gives everyone the opportunity to go to a university despite their family’s financiel situation

In denmark when you’re about 16-17ish you go to “highschool” and they dont really tell you what to do alot of the time, ofcourse it’s different from teacher to teacher but its generally pretty nice.

I live in Canada and did a 4 year bachelors and 1 year masters degree at a university (same as college in the USA). It was the best time of my life so far, but I would say it’s not for everyone.

Thx for the info about you, it was real informative! I flunked out and lost my sports scholarship freshman yr and had to move back home. I started working an internship, but had to take a class to keep the job, so I went to my local community college. Ended up taking a bunch of intro-level classes, found I really liked Business, transferred to a 4 yr school after getting my Assoc, now have my MBA and a job I love. Going to Comm. College was the best choice I ever made! Thanks for posting this!

I lecture at a South African university. Here every university is different and students also usually choose the wrong one to go to. My university has the best of everything :-)

Swedish school system: = start at 6 or 7, 9-10 years of mandatory primary school, then 3 years of optional highschool (but 98% starts). After highschool there is multiple way to continue your studies
