Team MBA Program in North Georgia College & State University Mike Cottrell School of Business is the opportunity to begin my second year of occupation, with business students at a higher level, teamwork, leadership skills and develop a global perspective.
The program began with 25 students in 2008 and has over 24 will be available in the second group.
The two year program is designed for professionals working in the region, with classes two evenings a week and a convenient location on Georgia 400 from the Graduate School of Business at Cumming City Hall.
“Together with the model cohort, each group of students, research and development, which allows them to collaborate and develop the basic skills of a career,” said John Douglas, director of program.
Douglas said the community supported the program, the region with several organizations within the class or group projects, participation.
“In addition, the company is that our students are already seeing the benefits of higher education and the promotion of its employees … to study and take longer to accomplish tasks take,” he said.
“I would say that Team MBA been a success. In just 18 months, we have quality academic center, with students who have higher scores on the GMAT test, sister agencies around the state put in place, “said Douglas.
The first group is in its second and final year. In addition to their classroom problems are working their Capstone Management.
Student teams work with mentors to identify and develop the organization or community about the study report and submit its findings to the Committee at the Faculty of Economics, Business Council members, clients and students in the past 5 weeks after the program he said.
The first group has completed its work; either late spring or summer semester 2010 to complete depending on the number of students participated in the choice this summer.
“With the MBA is always important, but it’s mostly the economy,” said Douglas.
