Jeremy with a Janak is much more in the hands of the search this weekend.

24-year-old University of Houston-Victoria student at the school since kindergarten graduate, Master of Business Administration with an emphasis on theoretical Saturday.

“I think the only thing I can do is prepare a report to my exam Certified Public Accountant:” He said laughing.

Janak was raised on a farm near Victoria and studied at St. Joseph High School in 2003. It was a good student and basketball and baseball in high school. In his spare time he has participated in 4-H club and show lambs.

They were his parents, Tammy and the Victoria District Administrator Kevin Janák, who encouraged him to follow his heart, after graduation and realize their dreams.

“I’m certainly not where I am today without the support of my parents, and this is true,” said Jeremy.

Janak decided to pursue higher education is his top priority, but he knew he did not leave the area he loves.

“I always wanted to stay in Victoria for two reasons,” he said. “First, my family here, and this is the second, I feel good here.”

Thus Janak went to Victoria College. While in his first year he wants to be an accountant doing some accounting courses. After that he had ever seen during a trip to get an MBA in accounting.

“I always liked math,” he said. “Accounting is suitable only for me. I like playing with numbers.”

Janak entered the CBB in 2005 and began working on his Bachelor of Business Administration with concentration in accounting. It took the two face to face and online courses at UHV his work boy’s basketball and baseball coach at St. Joseph.

Janak received a BA in the summer of 2007 and decided to continue going to school to get a Masters, then he will have more opportunities for employment. That decision paid off when, in February Janak as part time in accounting Bumgardner Morrison & Co., Victoria. He was appointed in May to an accountant full time staff.

“Online MBA classes in UHV were great because they gave me the opportunity to work full time and go to school,” he said.

Rhiannon Smith, Senior Coordinator of Student Services at UHV School of Business Administration, seen with my eyes how Janák dedicated his teaching, because they have the same category because they both work on their bachelor and she was Advisor in its class It was in a previous job CBB.

“He was always busy,” she said. “In classes, he continues to provide the best educational services; he may be, to succeed.”

This work ethic has served Janak CBB. Sometimes Janak was a little stressed about everything he was supposed to do, but it would just remind us of our goal of becoming a chartered accountant, he said. He now plans to pass the CPA exam in the spring.

“If I had advice for other students to continue to work hard and never give up,” Janak said. “What do you remember the goals that contact with you.”

Janák, the other to achieve its objectives, if on Saturday he walked across the stage during the autumn of CBB for ceremonies in the Leonard E. Merrell Center of Katy. It is cheering him, his parents and his older brother, Jamie.

“Her mother, brother, grandfather, grandmother and I am very proud of them,” said Kevin’s father, Jeremy. Allow “We have family in the region, and we left when we need and reminded him that it was a goal he had set the can.

In our world of increasingly complex, effective leadership is increasingly difficult. Of course, it is not easy, and trade has been affected by politics and diplomacy, which requires natural science, demography and other areas of specialized expertise. But the changes occur more slowly, so that business leaders to assess more time to learn, and react to circumstances. Well, in our 24 / 7 worlds of instant global communication and interaction, eyes, take a big picture for a moment, and the results can easily be disastrous.

For this reason, the people who ran the business schools recognize that students taught in traditional disciplines like finance, strategy, operations, and others not enough. They believe that future generations of managers should be taught to be a much more general context of their business, after years of increasing specialization at the Masters, the old idea of general education and Renaissance Man ( IS), or on the go, women’s fashion became more times.

In the U.S., it sparked a wave of dual training programs in high schools across the country. Wharton, for example, offers a Master of Business Administration and a combined Master of Arts in Environmental Studies and an MBA and a doctorate in law, in collaboration with the University Of Pennsylvania Law School. In New York, Columbia Business School Grants stunning range of two degrees in conjunction with 10 other schools in the parent university in areas as diverse as architecture, dentistry, social work and technology, and journalism, medicine.

Those installing the UPS may well produce graduates with different skills that some traditional MBA programs, but they can also be easily produced at the end of doctors, lawyers and architects, to better understand the importance of flow Cash and good marketing. If you are more creative approaches to reduce barriers to university MBA want to see a revival, you’re better at work to go to school outside the United States

Alfonso Sauquet, dean of the school ESADE in Barcelona, Spain, has been put into practice his belief that the business school is not an independent institution, but the center of industry, science and art Overall, if not virtuous circle, it might be a virtuous triangle. This led to a program where the combined company’s management and representatives of political parties and trade unions and other research oriented so that, inter alia, involves a partnership with one of the most acclaimed chefs in the world and the philosophy of time MBA study together, focused image Spain’s most famous literature from Don Quixote.

Perhaps the best example of violation of academic work with the academic walls is a partnership with the Center for the Arts in Pasadena, California, Top Design School. It was “The program is published Pretty,” which uses a mixture of psychology, anthropology and sociology, to try to solve trade problems, and that the party is the “living laboratory” – in other words as bars and coffee – up their theory in action.
