MBA: Work Ethic Pays Off For Students CBB

24-year-old University of Houston-Victoria student at the school since kindergarten graduate, Master of Business Administration with an emphasis on theoretical Saturday.

Janak was raised on a farm near Victoria and studied at St. Joseph High School in 2003. It was a good student and basketball and baseball in high school. In his spare time he has participated in 4-H club and show lambs.

They were his parents, Tammy and the Victoria District Administrator Kevin Janák, who encouraged him to follow his heart, after graduation and realize their dreams.

“I’m certainly not where I am today without the support of my parents, and this is true,” said Jeremy.

Janak decided to pursue higher education is his top priority, but he knew he did not leave the area he loves.

“I always wanted to stay in Victoria for two reasons,” he said. “First, my family here, and this is the second, I feel good here.”

Thus Janak went to Victoria College. While in his first year he wants to be an accountant doing some accounting courses. After that he had ever seen during a trip to get an MBA in accounting.

“I always liked math,” he said. “Accounting is suitable only for me. I like playing with numbers.”

Janak entered the CBB in 2005 and began working on his Bachelor of Business Administration with concentration in accounting. It took the two face to face and online courses at UHV his work boy’s basketball and baseball coach at St. Joseph.

Janak received a BA in the summer of 2007 and decided to continue going to school to get a Masters, then he will have more opportunities for employment. That decision paid off when, in February Janak as part time in accounting Bumgardner Morrison & Co., Victoria. He was appointed in May to an accountant full time staff.

“Online MBA classes in UHV were great because they gave me the opportunity to work full time and go to school,” he said.

This work ethic has served Janak CBB. Sometimes Janak was a little stressed about everything he was supposed to do, but it would just remind us of our goal of becoming a chartered accountant, he said. He now plans to pass the CPA exam in the spring.

“If I had advice for other students to continue to work hard and never give up,” Janak said. “What do you remember the goals that contact with you.”

Janák, the other to achieve its objectives, if on Saturday he walked across the stage during the autumn of CBB for ceremonies in the Leonard E. Merrell Center of Katy. It is cheering him, his parents and his older brother, Jamie.
