Mary Landrieu, Chairman Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, expressed their support for the decision of the Senate voted the bill on the budget for fiscal year 2010 December 14.

The law increases funding for the Small Business Administration (SBA) for more than 612 million dollars, making the SBA more than $ 1 billion in loans in disaster in 2010.
